Mission & Vision

Mission

To create one central, practical directory of in-person legal events that’s genuinely useful to everyone involved in the business of law and running a law firm – from lawyers and law firm leaders to conference organisers, exhibitors, speakers, podcasters, CPD providers and law firm networks.

Vision

A world where the global legal events calendar is transparent and easy to navigate, helping:

  • Lawyers and law firm professionals find the right conferences to attend
  • Conference organisers reach their target audiences effectively
  • Suppliers and exhibitors plan where to invest time and budget
  • Speakers and podcasters reach the audiences they serve
  • CPD providers and law firm networks showcase their programmes and events

Legal GiGZ aims to be the go-to reference point for in-person legal events focused on:

  • Law firm management and strategy
  • Business development and marketing
  • Legal operations and technology
  • Finance and pricing
  • People development, HR and leadership

Why Legal GiGZ Exists

The Origin Story

This whole project started when founder Shaun Jardine, whilst looking for events to approach as a speaker, realised that on a single day in June 2026, three separate legal management events were scheduled in London, all targeting a similar audience.

  • Sponsors & exhibitors – forced to choose and risk missing key buyers
  • Speakers – you can’t be in two places at once
  • Delegates – forced into difficult choices, often only discovering clashes too late
  • Conference organisers – competing unnecessarily for the same people on the same day

The problem wasn’t a shortage of information. It was the lack of a central, neutral, high-quality directory that made it easy to see what was happening, where and when – across multiple organisers, countries and networks.

Legal GiGZ was created to fix that.
